For those who want to do this - here's the trail. (South end of Kananaskis Country)
So I went half way up this trail last summer (2014) with my dad and brother in law - but my legs failed me. Not exactly sure why - I can bike all day without problem, and I can hike all day without problem - but the two together make me crash. Anyway.. more training I guess!
So we went again this year - my legs suffered the same, but not as severe - it also helped that we didn't get lost three times...
We crossed the river this year (which was a lot lower due to low snow/runoff and low precipitation this spring), and biked up the trail until about the 7km mark (give or take). We locked the bikes to a tree, and hiked the rest of the way. Oh, and being a photo guy, I took some pics along the way!! These are all with my iPhone 5s.
